LINDSAY LOHAN IS CHIC IN A FLORAL DRESS AS SHE JOINS FREAKY FRIDAY 2 COSTAR JAMIE LEE CURTIS ON SET FOR HOTLY ANTICIPATED SEQUEL TO 2003 HIT FILM

Lindsay Lohan flashed a cheerful smile while joining her costar, Jamie Lee Curtis, as they filmed an outdoor scene for Freaky Friday 2 in Los Angeles on Monday.

The Mean Girls actress, 38 — who recently flaunted her stunning post-baby body in Mykonos — strolled alongside the Oscar winner, 65, as they reprised their roles from the original 2003 movie.

Production for the anticipated sequel — which is slated to be released in 2025 — officially kicked off last month in June as the two leading stars held hands on set.

Lohan was effortlessly chic in a green and red-floral maxi dress which was layered with a tan trench coat amidst the latest day of filming.

She slipped into a pair of open-toed pumps and sported stylish, black shades to protect her eyes from the bright sunshine.

Lindsay's long locks were parted in the middle, and flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

The beauty opted to not add any flashy pieces of jewelry to the look, and added a bold reddish tint to her lips for a finishing touch.

Curtis also put on a fashionable display in a dark denim jumpsuit with a white blouse that was partially unbuttoned underneath.

The Halloween star donned a pair of closed-toed, black heels and easily carried a large, black purse over her right shoulder.

She added a dainty necklace to complete the outfit, while her locks were parted to the side and cascaded down in waves to brush her shoulders.

Lindsay and Jamie walked side-by-side on a sidewalk in LA as they filmed exterior scenes for the upcoming Disney sequel.

The two were also joined by another cast member, 15-year-old Julia Butters, who wore a red and yellow-striped shirt and high-waisted denim jeans.

Butters — who is seemingly playing the role of Lindsay's daughter in the movie — also wore a mustard yellow cap that was placed on top of her wavy, blonde locks.

Lohan is reprising her role of Anna Coleman, while Jamie is stepping back into the shoes of her mother, Tess.

Freaky Friday was released in theaters in August 2003 and was a box office success, raking in $160.8 million on a budget of $26 million.

Alongside Lohan and Curtis, other stars that were cast in the project included Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Ryan Malgarini and also Haley Hudson.

Freaky Friday received positive reviews upon its premiere in theaters, with Curtis notably garnering a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.

Lindsay won the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance in 2004, as well as the Teen Choice Awards for Choice Breakout Movie Star – Female.

Murry, Harmon, and Hudson are also returning to the sequel, as well as Christina Vidal Mitchell, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Chao, per Variety.

New cast members are Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and also  Sophia Hammons.

The premise follows: 'Anna Coleman and her mother Tess are in another predicament when they swap bodies with Anna's daughter. Now it's up to the three to reverse the body swap,' per an IMDB synopsis.

During a recent interview with ABC News, Lindsay gushed about returning to the Freak Friday world and reuniting with former costar, Jamie Lee Curtis.

'Jamie and I have stayed in touch over the years. You know how they say when you have a best friend or someone you're really close with?'

She added, 'If you can not see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it's like you never separated. And I think just women supporting women is such an incredible thing.'

Lohan also opened up about returning to Disney and expressed, 'I think really for me was when I went onto the Disney lot.'

'And being back on the Disney lot because that's not just Freaky Friday for me. That's The Parent Trap, that's Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, that's Herbie.'

'It's so many moments for me. So when I got there, I kind of felt like this essence of a little kid again,' the star revealed.

Late last month in June, Lindsay and Jamie paused for a memorable snap while in front of their trailers on set of Freaky Friday 2.

The joint post was uploaded to Disney Studio's main Instagram page with the caption: 'The Colemans are back and coming to theaters in 2025! The sequel to Freaky Friday is now in production!'

A separate clip was also shared that showed the pair striking a variety of poses together while sitting on the trailer steps. 'The band's back together,' the caption read.
